We take care about our body. Therefore it is very important to take care about its base – the spine. It has only several hours a day to be in the natural horizontal position. The correctness of this position and good rest of day loads depends on our mattress.

The mattress has two main functions: supporting of your body is the ability of the mattress to sustain the weight of your body and support your back to be straight during sleeping. The function of supporting in the mattress fulfills its base – the spring or latex block. Comfort is the ability of the mattress to correspond the forms of the body and diminish the load on the common points of pressure. Comfort is provided with the layers of stuff and quilted surface.

Mattress without the spring block is a monoblock of artificial or natural latex. As the filler the leaves of coco fiber – coir – can be used. The mattresses filled with liquid or air is also applied to this category. The spring block can consist of depending interlaced special way springs. Mattresses with the block of independent springs each of which is placed in separate textile bag and works independently of others. All spring mattresses have the layers which are reliable for such qualities of the article as softness, hardness, elasticity and others.

The traditional fillers – thick felt, foamed polyurethane, padding polyester, wool – and modern ones – coco coir, artificial and natural latex – are used widely. The fillers’ main qualities are hygienic and ecological. Many mattresses have the aerators – the ventilation holes which provide the circulation of air inside the construction.

The base is usually made of frame and elastic diametrical wooden laths – lamels. Lamels have the springy effect and work as an entire system with the mattress. Owing to this the firmness is less than when you put the mattress on the smooth surface. The qualitative base provides the normal circulation of air, prolongs the time of usage of mattress and helps it to unload the spine more effective.

You should always take care that the mattress is suitable and comfortable for you and never economize on the real quality. Good sleeping is good activity. Sleep well and stay healthy.
